MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Mother’s Day was celebrated with immense love, warmth, and gratitude at G.D. Goenka Public School, Sirsa through a special event titled “Roohaniyat” dedicated to honouring the unconditional love, dedication, and continuous support of mothers towards their children despite their countless responsibilities. The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony in front of Goddess Saraswati to seek divine blessings. The dignitaries present on the occasion were welcomed with a respectful Tilak ceremony, while the mothers were warmly greeted and presented with special tags. The Honourable Principal welcomed all the lovely mothers with an inspiring speech and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their endless sacrifices and nurturing care. The melodious musical performances by the Goenkans added charm and grace to the celebration. Students of JCD Vidyapeeth presented an emotional play titled “Muktidhaam”, beautifully portraying the importance of respecting and caring for parents, leaving the audience deeply moved.
