LOHRI AND MAKAR SANKRANTI CELEBRATION

The vibrant festival of Lohri and Makar Sankranti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth at GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, bringing together the management members and staff in a joyful spirit of togetherness. The celebration began with the traditional igniting of the bonfire, symbolizing gratitude, prosperity, and new beginnings. As the flames rose high, everyone gathered around, offering prayers and exchanging heartfelt Lohri wishes for happiness, health, and success. The festive atmosphere was further enriched with lively music, energetic dance performances, and traditional Punjabi beats that filled the campus with cheer. Staff members actively participated in fun-filled games, laughter, and group activities, strengthening bonds beyond the workplace. The joy of dancing around the bonfire and celebrating Punjabi culture created unforgettable moments for all present. Overall, the Lohri celebration was a delightful break from routine, filled with positivity, cultural pride, and shared happiness. It truly turned out to be a fun and memorable day, reflecting the strong sense of unity and festive spirit that defines the GD Goenka family.
