HISTORY CBP β AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL, SIRSA
History CBP 2 Day was successfully organised at GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, marking a meaningful platform for professional learning and collaboration. Teachers from various schools participated with enthusiasm, making the programme intellectually enriching and interactive. The workshop was led by the esteemed resource persons, Ms. Shalini and Ms. Suman Wadhwa, whose expertise added depth and relevance to the sessions. The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the guests, followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. A melodious welcome song, prepared by the schoolβs music team, set a gracious tone for the day. The guests were formally honoured by the Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma Attri, acknowledging their valuable contribution. The workshop focused on innovative approaches to teaching history, where teachers shared insightful perspectives and actively participated in a range of engaging activities conducted by the resource persons. The sessions highlighted history as a multidisciplinary subject, integrating social sciences, critical thinking, and real-life connections. As concluded, participants gained a renewed appreciation for the values and importance of history, recognising its vast scope and relevance in shaping informed, responsible citizens.
