The Adventure cum Komal Pad Camp at GD Goenka Public School Sirsa, organised from 3rd to 5th February 2026 in collaboration with Hindustan Scouts and Guides Haryana, culminated in a grand and inspiring closing ceremony filled with pride, discipline, and patriotism. The ceremony commenced with the warm welcome of esteemed guests by the school management, followed by the lamp lighting ceremony in front of Goddess Saraswati, seeking divine blessings. This was followed by a traditional tilak ceremony, symbolising respect and cultural values. The highlight of the day was the gracious presence of the Chief Guest, Deepak Saharan (IPS, SP Sirsa). He was enthusiastically introduced and welcomed by Sh. Naveen Jaihind, State Secretary, HSG, who motivated students to become disciplined, responsible, and courageous citizens—true soldiers of the nation. He encouraged students to actively participate in state-level and national-level scouting camps to strengthen the nation. Addressing the gathering, SP Deepak Saharan Sir guided students to remain bound by law, uphold discipline, and respect rules and regulations in daily life. A drug-free oath was administered, inspiring students to stay away from drugs and contribute positively to society. The presence of our honorable Principal mam Ms. Shikha Attri, Sh. Virender Kumar (JSTC HSG), Sh. Krishan Kumar (ASTC), Sh. Sanjeev Kumar (State HQ HSG), and other dignitaries added dignity to the occasion. Guests were honoured by the management members and interacted with students, applauding their enthusiasm and resilience throughout the camp. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Principal, marking the successful completion of a transformative and empowering camp. Saluting the spirit of scouting and leadership!
