ADVENTURE AT KACHI HAVELI, FATEHABAD!

GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa celebrated Children’s Day with immense enthusiasm by organising a memorable one-day trip to Kachi Haveli, Fatehabad for students of Grades 4 to 12. The beautiful heritage site, known for showcasing the rich traditions, culture, and values of Haryana, offered our Goenkans a perfect blend of fun and learning. Upon arrival, the students received a warm welcome from the hosts. As they entered the haveli, the staff greeted them with a traditional tilak ceremony, setting a culturally vibrant tone for the day. Soon after, students enjoyed a delightful breakfast with mouth-watering starters that boosted their excitement for the activities ahead. The tour of Kachi Haveli allowed the students to explore traditional architecture, old-world living styles, cultural artefacts, and the colourful heritage of Haryana. They learned about rural customs, farming tools, traditional kitchens, and the values that shape the heart of our state. The Fun Zone became the highlight of the day, where students enjoyed thrilling rides and engaging games. Bullock cart rides, camel rides, horse rides, and boating in the serene pond brought immense joy to everyone. The electrifying performance with the Kalbeliyas added sparkle to the celebration, as students danced freely and enjoyed every moment. Adventure continued with visits to the Bhoot Bangla, an entertaining magic show, and a fun interaction with an astrologer. Live singing performances kept the students cheerful and energised throughout the day. The celebration concluded with a sumptuous lunch that students relished together, making the day even more memorable. Overall, it was a fun-filled day packed with laughter, entertainment, cultural learning, and unforgettable memories—truly a perfect Children’s Day celebration for our Goenkans
