INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECIAL ASSEMBLY AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL,
The spirit of patriotism echoed through the walls of GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, as the school auditorium came alive with vibrant shades of the tricolour for the Independence Day Special Assembly. The event commenced with the warm welcome of our respected Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma Attri, and esteemed management members, followed by the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony before Goddess Saraswati Maa, seeking blessings for wisdom and guidance. Students enriched the audience with the Thought, Word, and Topic of the Day, highlighting the significance of India’s Independence Day and the sacrifices made for our freedom. The music department mesmerized everyone with a beautiful and melodious patriotic song, filling hearts with pride. Adding colours to the celebration, girls dressed in elegant traditional Indian attires showcased the theme of Unity in Diversity through a captivating dance performance representing various cultural forms of India. Their graceful moves reflected the strength and harmony of our great nation. The highlight of the event was the Operation Sindoor recreation scene, an emotionally charged performance depicting the bravery and sacrifices of our soldiers. The act was so realistic and heartfelt that it brought tears to the eyes of the audience, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, where everyone stood in solemn respect, paying tribute to the brave martyrs who gifted us the freedom we cherish today. The day truly ignited a renewed sense of love, pride, and responsibility towards our nation.
