💫 Grandparents’ Day Celebration at GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa 💫 “Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories, and love.” ❤️ GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with immense warmth and joy to honour the unconditional love and timeless wisdom of our beloved elders. The celebration began with a ceremonial tilak to welcome the grandparents, followed by the gracious welcome of our management members Chairman Mr.Murari lal Bansal sir and School Secretory Mr.Kamal Bansal sir Event was graced by Mr. Shubhash sharma and Mrs. Indra Sharma Proud parents* of our vice Chairman Mr.Ajay Sharma sir. The proceedings commenced with the traditional lamp lighting before Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings for enlightenment and knowledge. Our respected Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma Attri, extended a heartfelt welcome to all grandparents with her inspiring words, expressing gratitude for their love and guidance. The cultural performances began with a vibrant Bhangra that set an energetic tone for the morning. The adorable Nursery students stole hearts with their ramp walk, confidently showcasing their talent. The Kindergarten students mesmerized everyone as they portrayed Indian Lords, freedom fighters, community helpers, and even performed mimicry of their grandparents. Their colourful attires and dialogues from Indian mythologies and Bollywood retros left the audience smiling in delight. Grade I students then added melody to the celebration with a sweet welcome song dedicated to all grandparents. The event concluded with the presentation of tokens of love and gifts to all grandparents, symbolizing respect and affection. The day was truly a heartwarming celebration of love across generations. 💐💖
