CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS

Children’s Day at GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, was a memorable and joy-filled event, meticulously planned to bring delight to every child. The day began with a unique and heartwarming assembly led by the teachers, who dressed up as students, mirroring their beloved students' look. This surprise brought wide smiles and cheer to the students as they saw their teachers in a new, playful avatar! The program commenced with the welcoming of the management team and Principal Ma'am, followed by a traditional Saraswati Vandana to seek blessings. Teachers led the prayer, delivered speeches, and even shared the thought of the day in true "student style," bringing a lively and nostalgic touch to the assembly. A highlight of the day was the “Princess Dance,” where teachers, adorned as graceful princesses, captivated the audience. A mesmerizing jugalbandi of tabla, singing, and Bharatanatyam kept everyone spellbound with its rhythm and harmony. In an insightful skit, teachers conveyed the importance of balancing social media use, showing how mobile addiction can impact mental health and encouraging students to stay mindful and balanced.
